100th Day of School

In Kindergarten they celebrate the 100th Day of School. Which kept getting changed with all the snow days : ( Parker decorated his "100" poster with 100 cheerios, wore 100 stickers on his shirt and made a 100 crown to wear on his head.

Diaper Dash!

I was so excited when I got an email stating that Babies R Us was having a "Diaper Dash" I called to get details and signed up Everett and his cousin, Jansen. They only accepted crawling babies 7-12 months. They planned on running 5 heats and the winner of each heat would race in the championship race. The event was sponsored by Huggies and the fastest crawler to the finish line won 3 months of free diapers! What a cute track!!!
Well not many contestants showed up, so they actually only ran one heat and well Everett is a fast crawler but somehow my strategy was not quite as good as my sisters and Jansen crossed the finish line first. Oh well, it was fun and they shared the prize : )

Everett's like "huh, what was i susposed to do??"
Jansen's like "Yea, i am the winner!"

They even had numbers, sooo cute!

Family Christmas Present

This year for Christmas we purchased a basketball net for the whole family to enjoy. Brady has been playing for several years and this purchase was long overdue. Parker is also starting to play with the Y this winter.
We had the Dillmans over so they got to enjoy the new net the day it was assembled. Of course, everybody needed their own ball, we had to even pull out the soccer ball!

And while everyone else was outside this little cutie was inside seeing what on earth he could possibly find to put in his mouth. Looks like a little doggie, huh. : ) Your just too cute Everett!

2010 Christmas memories

Carlton's mom always gets a cake for Jesus, which is so nice for the boys to reminded the "reason for the season"
Everett's First Christmas! He had so many cute Christmas outfits! Carlton just can't help himself, he is just always shopping : ) This was definitely our favorite! Our little "Santa"

Present time.....

Brady admiring the DSi Parker received from Grandma & Grandpa

New gifts keeping them occupied : )

Jansen & Everett had the same "First Christmas" shirt. Justin must like to shop too : )

Hard to get them both actually looking at the camera and smiling! So this will have to do (both at least looking!)

We were all fortunate enough to see the Christmas show at American Music Theater. And what a great turnout! Nanny K, Mom, Dad, Don, Sharon, Jillian, Julie, Jordan, Rick, Kim, Haley, Angie, Jenna, Justin, Brady and myself!

Carlton had to work so Brady was my date : )
I made him stand one step down so he wasn't taller than me : )

We had a wonderful Holiday season with so many great memories!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Basketball Season Under way!

Basketball season has started! Brady was fortunate enough to have made the 6th grade traveling basketball team. We have had 3 games so far and they are doing great! Yesterday's game against Solanco turned out well for L-S. 37-30. Brady got lots of playing time and he was just on top of his game! Made several baskets, rebound after rebound, and got a foul shot too. Of course he definitely has an advantage being 5' 8 1/2" : ) Although Solanco actually had a player that came about 1 inch short of Brady. Thats very unusual! He is typically several inches taller than everyone else. I often wonder when everyone else is going to catch up to him??

Race for Education

Parker's Elementary school did a race for education fundraiser last month. Here he is with his best bud, Griffin, waiting to get started. At the Start Line....

He was Amazing! I think we counted 14 laps and I'm pretty sure that was the record! They had really neat obstacles along the way to keep it fun and of course a water station that he hit up every lap : )
