Rawlinsville Camp Meeting

Its that wonderful time of the year again for camp meetings in Rawlinsville. We all enjoy going down for long days and sometimes I get talked into spending the night. The boys just LOVE it! There is a wait for one of these cottages so for now we all share my moms. She was on the waiting list herself for 7-8 years. She got hers back in 2002 and we have been coming down eversince! I'd love to have you join me. I'll be around Cabin 101 unless its morning I'd be at Bible Study and if its dinnertime you'll catch us at the dining hall and evening were in the tabernacle. Just hit all the hot spots...candy store, playground, snack shop were around there somewhere!

I took these shots last year at the end of camp. We were cleaning out our cabin. Going through all the crafts and candy bags! Normally this tabernacle is FULL!

Gerber Daisies

Oh, Aren't they beautiful!!!
I LOVE Gerber Daisies. This just might be the prettiest pot of them I've ever had. You see i'm not real faithful about watering and we go away alot so most of my flowers tend to die but boy did i luck out with these babies! I just can't get enough of them! They sit outside my kitchen window so at least i have something pretty to look at when i do dishes. And isn't it just the prettiest PINK you ever wanted to look at!

Weekend in the Poconos

This past weekend we went away with Carlton's side of the family to a cozy cabin in the Poconos. On Saturday we visited Camelbeach waterpark, we debated about it because the weather was alittle cloudy and low 70's but the kids didn't seem to mind. Lots of campfires all weekend.
Roasted Marshmellows and

Smores were on the menu

A really nice park is nearby, we have visited almost everytime we go up, however this time the girls visited some outlets and squeezed in alittle shopping while the men and kids went to the park : )

Thanks for a great weekend Grandma & Grandpa!

Camping weekend

This was our second year going with our church for a weekend of camping at Camp Hebron. There was lots planned from Friday night popping pocorn over the fire to Saturday biking, boating, fishing and swimming, to Sunday morning worship by the lake.

We all had so much fun and have plans to go next year!

Philadelphia Zoo

We teamed up with the Beiler Family and took a day trip (or maybe i should say half-day we spent the other half of the day eating and on the road!) to the Philadelphia Zoo. One of the "extras" the zoo offers is animal face painting. They all did really well keeping it on their faces even till we got the whole way home.

Breanne, Brady, Trey, Parker- in case you don't recognize them under their masks : )

Brady's FAVORITE animal is the Cheetah! He enjoyed seeing them but likes to see them running their fastest which doesn't typically happen at the zoo.

I can't believe its already July!! So much left to squeeze in
these next two months.
I just love summer!
Check back next week for pictures from our upcoming camping trip.
