Kitchen Remodel

Well we have been remodeling our kitchen. I really wish i would have done a better job of taking "before" pictures but here are a few while we are in the midst of tearing up old vinyl and cabinets.

We couldn't have done this project without the help of construction worker Brady & Parker.

We donated our whole kitchen to Habitat, it worked out great for everyone. They even came here to pick it up.

We've got it completely down to the plywood. Next on the list is new vinyl, then cabinets, then appliances, then countertops, then backsplash.

Food & Fellowship

All the girls in my family got together this morning for a yummy breakfast and some great conversation. Its not too often i get to see my mom, sisters, cousins, aunts, and my nanny all in the same morning...and what a fun morning out is was, thanks to my Aunt Sharon for putting this together!

1st Place

Just wanted to let everyone know Brady will be featured in the Newspaper In Education Week insert in tomorrow, March 3rd, Lancaster newspaper. It should be included in both the morning and evening paper. All of the students in his 4th grade class were asked to draw an ad for Junior Achievement and they had chosen his as 1st place. He also recieved a $25.00 cash prize from Fulton Bank that he was even more excited about than having his picture and ad in the newspaper.

Boys Just Wanna Have Fun

Well i know my boys love to pretend...usually its farmers, cowboys, football players but this time they went with musicians. Brady set up my camera in Parkers bedroom and the two of them did there own little rendition of Brandon Heath's "Give me your eyes".

There are days I question whether the drumset was a good idea?!
