One last hurrah...a couple days in Knoebels amusement park. We didn't completely "rough" it and stay at the campground, my dad was alittle nervous with bearing hot & humid temps all day long we might enjoy a good night's rest with some A/C so we opted for a nearby hotel. It was his idea to take his grandkids to knoebels but as our families grow its alittle hard for just him and my mom to keep an eye on all the kiddos so me and my sisters and all our families went.

Brady & his cousin, Hunter, on the Flyer

Oh yes, I may have had something to do with that #2 jet going off just as Carlton, Parker, my mom and Hunter were going by. So if the splash from the hill didn't soak them enough that jet helped polish them off! : )

Poor Parker on the second day he came down with a real high fever and after dozing off on the hard wooden knoebels bench we realized we had to take him back early to the hotel. Darn bugs...he felt 100% better by the next morning. But unfortunately missed out on lots of rides!

Here is Carlton and Parker on the "kiddie" rollar coaster. It was actually quite jerky i was surprised he liked it. Carlton may have had a different opinion as those cars were not made for 6'6" men.

We dedicated one day to the amusement park and one day to the pool. We were very fortunate the weather was great both days. We did get chased out by a thunderstorm the second evening but it was almost 9:00 anyway.

At the pool they have an area for smaller children, Brady snuck in so he could play with Parker until they kicked him out.

Here Brady is jumping off the regular dive.

Then he gets enough nerve to try the high dive. Unfortunately i wasn't quick enough to get him actually going off, the next picture i was able to snap was just a big splash of water, i missed him by like 2 seconds.

I have to say we were very pleased with our knoebels trip. It is a very affordable park as far as their ride prices as well as food. Lots of food and very good food! They even allow you to bring in drinks and snacks. And you can pay per ride which means adults who are barely riding anything don't have to pay a large admission price to watch their kids go on rides and take pictures. We had a fun time!
Now were starting the countdown to school which is only one week away! I will miss having Brady around. He goes into 5th grade and Parker has one more year of preschool.
That roller coaster picture with Carl is so funny!! I'm glad Parker didn't get the bug as bad as my kids did that week. That would have been miserable!! Looks like good times!
