He will be missed!

Last month we said good-bye to my poppop. Its taken me awhile to do this post....Hard to put into words everything I'm feeling. "He will be missed" seemed to be a good post title. It will be so different without him, i guess thats what everyone says....I try to focus on his 77 years of life and the fact that he was Alive & Healthy all but a few short months of them. We had an awesome service for him. It was just awesome! My sister, Jenna, sang "I can only imagine" requested by my Nanny, and my other sister, Angie and I read scripture. My mom shared a peom, my Aunt Kim and cousin Julie shared some great memories and they all did amazing! I loved listening to their memories, of course some of mine are the same, might be why i loved hearing them : ) Me & Poppop celebrating at his 70th birthday party!

I know I am lucky to have had a healthy Poppop all these years! He has been in my life for 31 years! He was at my graduation and celebrated with me on my wedding day and got to hold all three of my boys! Wow, what a blessing!

Class of 2023!!!

I know every mom says this "I can't believe he is starting Kindergarten" but really i can't! I remember the day Brady started Kingergarten I was pregnant with Parker. Now Brady is in Middle school and Parker is in Elementary???!!!! Even though its a terrible half day schedule and it feels like i just took him to the bus stop when I'm hopping in the jeep to pick him up again I'm glad he isn't gone all day. And he loves to come home and see his baby brother!!!!!

I did pretty well as that bus drove away. The real sad day will be 5 years from now when that's Everett stepping up on that bus!!!

Training

Carlton has been selected to train for a new aircraft Quest is getting. The Phenom 100 by Embraer. Its a jet : ) He leaves for the training center in Dallas, TX this Sunday and starts school the next day. He will have 2 intense weeks of school.

We are all very excited for him but will miss having Daddy around! I think Everett especially because he prefers Daddy to change all his poopy diapers :)

HersheyPark

Its been years since we have been to HersheyPark so we decided to take a day out of our busy summer and all go. We had a huge group! My Mom and Dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, nieces, newphews (18 total including the babies!) Carlton had to work : ( Parker is tall enough to go on just about everything! He even tried rollar coasters out this year. Him and I rode the Comet together.

We spent much of the day in the "Boardwalk" which is all water activities. Water slides, wave pools, fountains, etc. Didn't want to get my camera wet so i don't have many pics from that area.

Mother of 3 BOYS!!

Sometimes i can't even believe I am the mother of 3 boys! Had did i get so lucky? I love being a mom and i love that i have 3 boys. What a blessing they all are!

Is it weird that i took my picture with cows in the background?? We were enjoying ice cream at Meyer Dairy in Penn State and i was like "oh there is Meyer Dairy, i want my picture with them" : ) FYI if you ever get in that direction-3 Words...Peanut Butter Sundae : )

Everett's First Tooth!

Well after weeks and weeks of major drooling Everett's first tooth made an appearance! It came with all the extra side affects...fever, runny nose, sleepless nights and was maybe even the culprit behind his ear infections. He has bounced back already and is a happy Everett again. He was not a big fan of us taking this picture!

Visit with Poppop

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift - that's why it's called the present.

We just found out my Poppop is sick. We were hoping his symptoms were maybe even something as simple as really bad allergies but tests show he has lung cancer. It makes me sad to think Everett won't know him but know I'm lucky to have had a healthy Poppop all these years!

Everyday really is a gift : )
